 Public defence: Audun Løvlie

Our DIPA-fellow, Audun Gabriel Løvlie, defended his doctoral thesis in political science for the degree of PhD at UiB, Friday 31st of March. The title of his dissertation is “The Fellowship of Acceptable State Interventions: Knowledge, Norms, and Justifications in Norwegian Child Protection Care Order Cases“. The research is a part of the Acceptability project, at the DIPA-Centre.


The public defense committee consisted of first opponent Professor Torbjörn Forkby (Linnæus University), second opponent and head of committee Professor Asgeir Falch-Eriksen (UiB/OsloMet).


Supervisors: Professor Marit Skivenes and Dr. Kenneth Burns.


Audun is now working as a researcher on the Children’s Right to Participation project at DIPA-Centre.
