Elisabeth Staksrud:
Children, youth and online risks
Elisabeth Staksrud is a Professor at the Department of Media and Communication, University of Oslo. Her research interests and key competences include safe use and online risk, regulation and rights, media use among children and adolescents, censorship and freedom of expression. She is working on several projects, one of which is the European Union’s Horizon 2020 funded project “Youth Skills (ySKILLS)”, which aims to enhance and maximize the long-term positive impact of the digital environment on children and adolescents. Staksrud has written numerous articles on media use and it’s effects for children and young people, and has both written and contributed to several books on these topics. https://www.hf.uio.no/imk/personer/vit/estaksru/index.html
