Interdisciplinary comparative analysis – a lesson to learn from comparative law
Sören Koch is Professor at the Faculty of Law in Bergen and Chair of the Research Group for Legal Culture. Koch has published comparative and legal historical studies in Norwegian, German and English. Koch specializes in comparing legal methods in different countries, and combines a historical and comparative perspective. He is a co-author of Nordic and Germanic Legal Methods (2014), Norwegische Juristische Methodenlehre (2013), Springers Handbuch der Konfliktlösung in Europa (2020) and Foundations of Western Legal Traditions (2016). He also publishes articles in international journals.
