Paternalism, Coercive Care and the Very Poor
Dr. Cristian Pérez Muñoz is Associate Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His teaching and research interests include normative political theory, public policy and applied ethics. He has published on subjects as the ethical aspects of redistributive programs, income distribution proposals, the production and provision of essential services, street-level charity programs and welfare policies.
This event is part of the “RDV seminar series” – a collaboration between the Research Group Law, Democracy and Welfare at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Center for Research on Discretion and Paternalism at the Department of Administration and Organizational Science at the University of Bergen and the Center for Law and Social Transformation (Lawtransform) at the University of Bergen.
