Join us on thursday, November 16, for a presentation and discussion about the book The impossible imperative – Navigating the competing principles of child protection with author Jill Duerr Berrick

 

Jill Duerr Berrick is a Professer II here at the Centre for Reseach on Discretion and Paternalism, and Professor in the School of Social Welfare at the Univeristy of California, Berkeley. She has written/co-written sevetal books on topics relateing to family poverty, child maltreatment, and child welfare. Her research focuses on the relationship of the state to vulnerable families.

 

The talk will be in room 17.112 at the University of Bergen, Christies gate 17, from 14:15 to 15:45, and will be held in English.
