Ann Christin Eklund Nilsen is a professor at the Department for sociology and social work at the University of Agder. Her research interests cover topics such as childhood, families, kindergartens, culture, and gender, and institutional ethnography. Her research is published in journals such as Childhood, Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood, European Early Childhood Education Research Journal, Nordic Social Work Research, Comparative Social Work, Nordic Journal of Cultural Policy, Gender Issues, as well as in several Norwegian journals and books.
