How do children and parents experience child protection proceedings?

Stefan Schnurr is Professor and Head of the Institute for Studies in Children and Youth Services at the University of Applies Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. His research interests include social work, child- and youth services, international social work and social policy, and participation. Schnurr has both led and been a part of several research projects which aimed to add to the knowledge on and further the development of child and youth services in Switzerland. He is one of the upcoming guest researchers at the DIPA Centre during August/September 2021. Schnurr has written numerous articles and book chapters, and has contributed to the upcoming book “The Oxford Handbook of Child Protection Systems” by Berrick, Gilbert & Skivenes, with the chapter “Child Protection and Childrens’ Services in Switzerland”. https://www.fhnw.ch/de/personen/stefan-schnurr
